Held on 4th and 5th October at Ingliston Country Club in Bishopton. A large team of twenty vaulters attended, as well as three lungers and two horses. Our club did a great job, got some great results and featured strongly in the prize-griving.

August 2014

Summer Camp

In August we had our annual three-day vaulting camp, which many of our vaulters attended, included guest vaulter Maaike Zelvelder from the Netherlands. Two days of which were centred around sessions with our guest coach Lucy Philips.

Perth Show Demo

ILPH Islay was invited by World Horse Welfare to do a display at Perth Show along side other WHW horses. The vaulting demo went well even though Ali thought he was there to do some showjumping! A big thanks to Yazminn Williamson, Molly Turner and Atholl Pettinger for taking part in the display.

June 2014

Glenfarg Fete Demo

We attended Glenfarg Fete with two horses and with our tombola stall. The weather held until we started our display, at which point the heavens opened. Undaunted the lungers, vaulters and horses managed to show some vaulting skills in walk even though they were very cold and wet.

The prestigious vaulting competition, held in Moorsele (30 May - 1 June 2014), attracts entrants from all over the world.
Kinross Vaulting Group member Atholl Pettinger, who is currently British Champion in the Child Male Individual category, also received a personal development grant of £250 to assist with progressing to a higher level within the sport.
